THE 2024 GREAT CREATE
What
Students will collaborate in small groups to create sculptural constructions. They will delve into big ideas, use unexpected art-making materials, and make connections between art, nature, and themselves. Enthusiastic instructors, led by independent Museum Educator, Sarah Brockway, Lincoln Public Schools staff, and 8th graders will support the student creators. The Great Create offers a chance to think, build, make, and explore at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum. Students from the Lincoln and Hanscom campuses will work together to complete creative challenges inspired by featured contemporary sculptures.
